It all started 8 years ago with an empty premises, which is now the Cantina Mexicana. The first Mexican restaurant in Spittal an der Drau opened by Daniel Ramsbacher!

After 7 years of rental our former landlord decided to go into their well-deserved retirement. On the 1st of June 2008 Monika and Dieter Bartlmä, former guesthouse Weiss with room rental, passed the premises as well as the bed and breakfast on to Tamara and Daniel Ramsbacher.

The idea of a "Mexican Hotel " was born!

After careful planning , we decided to keep the Mexican theme!
Out of the old 8 bedrooms, 3 double rooms, 2 single rooms and a hallway including a fountain with "Grander Water" were constructed. Furthermore, the first sign of the innovation was shown through the salamander on the exterior!

After almost exactly a year of construction work, the rest of the rooms were finished. We now offer 3 double rooms, 2 themed rooms (Chichen Itza and Cancun) and the Mexican Love Suite!

We keep on moving in order for a constant modernisation and change of our house. The spa, for example, will be finished in the next few years. We rely on the exceptional and our greatest joy is when our guests leave the house with a big smile and say "See you soon!"

The Bed & Breakfast Weiss has now changed into the Hacienda Mexicana! Let us surprise you again and again with our innovative ideas!
